I just Purchased an F90BT on ebay, I was planning on installing in a prius which looks like it might be a PITA. The more I read this board about the F series, the more I am convinced I should save myself the trouble, sell it, and get something that actually works!

HOWEVER I know that sometimes message boards like this become dominated by negative chatter even when the majority of people are happy with the product.

So which is it?

Do I sell it, and save myself the agony? or Suffer endlessly with the rest of you?

Return it...How can u install on prius!

I went to a local stereo shop, and they said there was enough room where the stock radio is to install a double DIN unit.

However there is no double DIN install kit available, only a single DIN with an extra cubby, so it may be questionable anyway.

PRIUS??

do you know how I know?

Well Mr fourqts as a matter of fact I do not know how you know.

My guess would be that you have a prius and you determined that you cannot install a double DIN unit where the stock radio is.

Please enlighten me!

10 votes?

there has got to be more than 10 people who have an opinion one way or another on this.

Is the F series worth the hassle?

Isn't the Prius on a non-12volt power system?

I find this poll interesting and wish more F90BT owners would weigh in and cast a vote even though I don't really understand the third choice; in a way, it serves to skew the results because it doesn't make much sense. On another note, for those of you who bought a unit on ebay from an unauthorized dealer, can you still return the unit if it ends up being faulty or are you simply out of luck?
