i have ithe d3 ordered a cd 1200 cable, what ipod should i get, right now just looking for cheap and that can do video. i had just thought that a ipod-5th gen (not really sure on all the gen talk) but i see nano can play video now will they work? or are they to new?

Most Refurbs are going to be Gen 6 now that the 7th Gen is out. So you need to make sure. I believe 5.5 Gen is going to be 60GB and 120GB but I might be wrong

My 5.5 gen is 80. I don't believe they had 120 until the Classic was released

all the iPods will work for music. New Nanos will not work w/ charging though

The new nano play's video on my wifes D-3 but not on my F90-BT, and liked mentioned before it doesn't charge when plugged in.
what gen is that? i thought it said that cable was for the gen 1 nano, wouldnt that be charging too?
Not sure, just bought it a few days ago at Best Buy so I'm assuming it's the latest generation
1st Gen nano will charge. I also believe that the 2nd gen will charge. The latest gen went back to the long candybar style where the previous generation was short and fat.
