Looking at purchasing a new cell phone, does anyone have any experience pairing a Pantech Duo or Matrix?

If they support the Hands-free and head-set profiles you should get basic functionality at the very least.

I believe most Pantech handsets use Windows Mobile, in which case I suspect they'll be far more compatible with the WinCE AVIC than iPhones, Crackberries and other non-windows phones. No direct experience... just a hunch!

yes, those handsets are available in the US; AT&T is the carrier. They seem like nice phones and have received good reviews, but I don't want to get one if someone has had experience with it not connecting to the F.

And you are correct pip, they do run on Windows Mobile, which also leads me to believe they will be compatible.
