is there such a thing as a list of compatible cars for the avic z1? sadly the acura integra was recently totaled, but navi is ok. ideally i'd like a late model subaru or something else smallish w/ All wheel drive (i live in boston). Thanks Jen

do appreciate the help, but seriously if anyone knows of a list that exists of cars w/ double din openings or whatever i'd be greatful. you can't figure out how many dins there are in most used cars while sitting in front of your laptop, it seems. thanks againI don't know about any end-all-be-all list, but what you could do is go to crutchfield.com, and then input whatever car you are interested in buying, and then go look at the headunit section. It will list everything that will fit, if all you are seeing is single din then the vehicle has a single din.
most subarus would work. my friend's 07 wrx had a double din opening that easily fit a d3 (same size as the z1). not sure about the 08s tho.
another site to check would be www.metraonline.com They make a bunch of kits for cars. Take the list of cars you have an interest in, and check. Some members here may even own cars you're looking at, do you have a list? Post it.
