i have a F700bt, and a iPod Touch 1st generation. with the ipod cable from pioneer, it wont work at all? i turned the AV to ipod and everything? any help?

Thats one of the things rumored to fixed in the second update. Only time will tell though

Check your firmware version on your touch. If it is 2.0 or 2.1 it will not work. You will have to bring it back to 1.14 or wait until the new firmware update for the avic comes out.

I just wanted to add some insight

I have a f 900bt with the 2.0 firmware

I also have the first generation I touch running 2.1 software and mine is working perfectly.

When I got my pioneer they said it was updated and it wouldn't work with my I touch and they blamed the software. I looked at the version and noticed it was 1.001 or something like that. I did the new 2.0 firmware and it works great.

I got a touch a while ago (I believe 1st gen) with the order of my car. I should be able to check this out on Tuesday.
