well i just installed my z1 into my scion tc (proud of it too since i did all the work and wiring) my question is that the scion has a AUX port in the center console, how can i make it work with the z1 or does it already work (havent had a chance to use it).

My second question is i wanna update the maps but i dont want to do the whole hard drive thing. Can i just do it with the update cd from pioneer?

also can you change the loading screen on the z1, i saw a d3 with a lexus loading screen so i figured as much

You would need to wire the aux jack to the aux input on the back of the Z1.

behind the radio you should have a 12 pin plug thats not used when you install the Z. the easiest way to figure this out is to but a cheap 3.5mm cable that you can cut in half and discard later. then you will want to strip it back and you should have three wires. a white shielded, red shielded, and a bare wire. use a DMM and measure continuity between them and figure out what is what. then you can solder a set of RCA's on to those wires and connect them to the aux input of the Z.
