i've searched the forums, and found people that have the same problem im having, but can't seem to find the solution...

i've extracted the 6 files and burned them to the root of a cd-rw but when i put it in the z3 it just says something like "cd-rom inserted" or something like that and doesn't do anything... i've burned using 2 different versions of roxio, 2 different computers, tried iso9660 and joliet, both mode 1.. and always closed the disc... what am i doing wrong? do i need to go to a specific screen on the z3 or is it supposed to automatically update? help?

edit: also forgot to mention im burning using disc at once

ok ive now tried cd-r and cd-rw, and just for the hell of it, even though pioneer said to use mode 1, i tried mode 2 just because i got nothing else to try, and nothing works. does anybody know what to do?

the unit will play my burned audio cds, my burned mp3 cds, my burned dvd movies, will grab pictures off of a burned cd for poi's in my address book, but i can't get it to update the gracenote!

Perhaps your Gracenote is already up to date?

yah i checked that before even downloading... my version is 7 something when the one i downloaded is 08-01-0030...
