Went and looked at the 2009 Tacoma and noticed Toyota finally got with the program and finally is offering Xm roof mounted factory color keyed Antenna's. If anybody is intrested the part number for the color keyed Xm antenna is 8690-04010 a0 and cost $50. I purchased one for my 2004 Tundra and will be doing this mod.

First item will be cutting a hole in the roof and then comes the wiring. I picked out a kit from Vais (sfa12f) that will allow the wiring to be hooked into the Toyota Xm plug (cost is $56) . I haven't yet receive this yet but from the look's of it everything is plug and play to the pioneer Xm navi traffic unit.

These picture's are the very start on my project.
