I've been trying to figure out what's up with my XM tuner.

 

It keeps telling me "check antenna" but it's properly plugged in and appears to be funcitoning properly.

 

Anyone have an idea as to what I'm doing wrong?

 

Also, I get a loud popping sound when I shut the car off. Any fix to stop it from happening?

The antenna cable got pinched, cut or the plug is bad. You need a new antenna.

The pop can be solved by adding a 1.5k ohm resistor inline on the remote turn on wire. Radio Shack sells them.
