I am a seasoned audio video installer, recently I did a 900 in a '05 sport trac. I performed the video bypass with the mute wire, all was well for a while, however, now the customer complains that it "locks up" and goes to the navigation warning screen while he's driving down the road, repeatedly. I have XM, iPOD, and a backup camera hooked up to the unit, everthing works, but the primary loading sequence is slower than 2 old people phucking. Can I get a little insight

Try doing the update released today

What do you have to do? Download it, and burn it to a disk? Or go into settings on the unit?

rtfm...sorry, too easy

the download goes onto an SD, boot off the SD card, it will install itself.

I know fukall about SD cards do you have to get a loader for your pc, like USB to SD? Can get that from our pioneer distributor I assume. Can I get that zip file on this site, or something like Pirate bay?

dont forget the hard reset after it updates itself...hold the reset button for 5 seconds and let it reboot

Ok, thanks guys, I just got off the phone with the company we bought it from, and they didn't even know about the new update, so this site and your help really payed off. I just have to tell the customer to go by a reader and an SD card before I can help him. So, thank you.
