So now that Pioneer is finally getting it right, what is the prediction of how soon these units will creep up to close their original price?

Or since this is an election year they are keeping the prices low, just like what is happening with gas.......

I say $100-200 increase in time for the holidays? Any guesses?

In the run-up to Xmas I highly doubt any manufacturer will be putting up the price of anything, espeically a piece of kit with such a poor reputation

It won't go up. We are in a recession. And I don't think it is cheap at the moment. MSRP is just way too over-prized.

No electronic ever goes up in price when, that's just not the way our consumer market works.

If they perform a substantial redesign of the hardware the unit uses, that would be one thing, but in it's current form, the only thing that will happen is the price will go down.
