Now can someone actually figure out why in the world the F Series that just came out has soooo many firmware updates and us wit this D series can't get a damn firmware. WHy? How? I think us D series owners were like hoes and got SCREWED. What do YOU think?

D-series is discontinued would be my guess why they are focusing on the new models. Just like you wouldn't get updates for Windows 98 anymore

Also, since the F-series barely worked and if they didn't release firmware updates, they would have had to sell the f-series at half price. I mean, the suggested retail price for the f-series when it was released was about 1 grand. There are posts of people getting the f90bt at around $500, but that's with a microsoft rebate.

Whats wrong with the D3? Mine works fine.

Well there are a few bugs in the D3 and a spellin error in the BT department. I still think a firmware is needed for this D3. Fix some of them minor bugs.

At this point hoping for any kind of firmware update from Pioneer for the D3 is like hoping to wake up with a couple of strippers in your bed, a pile of coke on the nightstand, and a million dollars under your pillow.

Anyways, Pioneer is not focusing on their discontinued models so there will most likely not be an update for the D Series.
