I recently purchased a Z3 and am having a problem with my rear monitor (Directed brand).

The rear monitor will not show any video, however when I access the A/V page and touch the "rear Monitor" butoon- and I go to "Mirror" all I get is the buttons showing on the rear monitor, no picture, so I know it is getting a signal. So as of now the rear does not show DVD or TV

What am I missing?

Did you turn "AV External Output" to ON ? Its should be in your AV Settings menu from the music screen's second page.
