I installed my F90BT this past weekend. I noticed that when I tried to go to the navi settings, they weren't hightlighted so I could get into the navi settings and functions. Also the same thing is happening with the phone settings. When I press phone from the menu, nothing is highlighted in there as well. I'm trying to connect my phone. Does anyone know why these functions are not available? The gps is hooked up and the map is working. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Installed F90BT need some help
I'm going to guess you didn't do the bypass. The AVIC will not let you meddle with anything map/gps related unless the parking brake is set or the unit is bypassed.
As for the phone, tap "phone settings" or whatever it is at the bottom right. Again, parking brake or bypass.

Thanks for the information. I'll search the threads to see how to bypass.

Basically you're soldering the parking brake wire (green) to the ground (black) and then soldering them both to the mute wire (blue or yellow, can't remember) and then relocating the mute wire to another position on the molex connector. Holler if you need help
