I have an IPOD NANO, 3rd gen I believe, and just like most of the other posts I read, mine as well does not play video, only sound. However, the music function of the NANO to the AVIC D3 is flawless. My question is: I want a IPOD that will work with the AVIC D3 and be able to use all funtions including video, which one should I get? I have an 8gig Touch that does not work with it already. I read that the Classic 5th gen will work, but even then, i would have to have the correct firmware... Will the latest classic's out work? Has anyone got one that is proven to work. Im looking to buy this one.

Get the ipod video that came out one generation before the classic and you won't have to mess with the firmware. Biggest size is 80 gig though
