I used to have a stock stereo that included a rear seat DVD entertainment setup: DVD player in center armrest console, DVD screen in roof, IR headphones and dual zone capability.
OK-- ONE
Now with the Z1, I was able to retain the rear seat video player and screen. The video and audio are sent to the Z1 so I can see the video in front and back, but ONLY if I put the DVD into the Nissan DVD player. If I put the DVD in the Z1, I can see and hear it, but the rear screen will not show it.
OK-- TWO
The Nissan DVD player is always on. When a disc is in and Stop is pressed, it stops, then plays again. The screen never turns off either. How can I get this to turn off when I press "power" on the Nissan player?
OK-- THREE
The IR headphones were working until today, now no IR headphones.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

Well I can answer one of your questions.

The rear screen isn't showing it because there is no video coming from the Z1 out to the screen. You see it and you hear it because the Z1 is playing the disc. In order to have the rear screen show it you need to connect a video out to the screen. I'm not sure about the Z1, but on the D2 there is a RCA video output labeled 'Rear Video Out' or something to that extent. Hook that up from the Z1 to the screen and you'll be good to go.

OK. Turns out my IR blaster that feeds audio to the wireless headphones is out. My kids tell me it used to work but is now dead. I believe it happened after my installer put a noise filter on the video's audio feed.
Anyway, the rear player is still under warranty with the car & the dealership will cover it if they can determine if audio is actually being routed to the IR blaster. They said, on the original head unit, there was a function to turn the rear panel off and on and that this may be to blame (rear panel turned off).
So, question is:

Anyone know which wires control this? Is there any way to know?

Seems like a long-shot to me, but just in case someone actually knows...
