Will My N1 play video Ipod if i connect it through the external video component??

If you bypass it, it will work while in motion. If you don't, it won't

The ipod should go to the AV input. The back-up camera goes to the back-up camera input. They are completely independent of eachother

Or if i have default 40mt version then do i still have to bypass it?

just ground the parking brake wire and its bypassed
