Making iGO8 work without a SD card — AVIC411 Forum Archive

Is there any way to replace all of the Avic iGO files with the iGO8 files, so that we would not need to have the SD card running with the AVIC Launcher.... "not that I dont like the Launcher"

The Dream:

replace all iGO files

change some code

press map on the unit

BAM... iGO8

Let me know your ideas...

Yup for a dream its okay, but i would rather see this really happen, and with the crazy people on this forum I reallt this is can happen...

What exactly is wrong with iGO8 already on the unit?
