Why is it that when you use the VR to make a call that the screen switches to the Map view?

I might be listening to my iPod and answer a call and then it changes the display to the map view and when I end the call I have to reselect the iPod again to return to it.

The only thing I thought it might be but isn't is that it trys to display the callers address when they call in, but that is not the case.

I'm just going by memory here, but I thought that the iPod album art/audio source icon was still in the lower right hand corner when that happens and that you would be able to just touch that to bring it back.

Yes that is there but I guess my point is why does it have to switch to the map view when an inbound or outbound phone call takes place? If I make a call and I am on the iPOd screen, it should stay in that screen.
