Does the Z3 allow you to playback burn movies from DVD? (avi, Mp4, Mpeg, Wma...etc)

No. DVD format only.

Do you know what models allow to play CD or DVD with .avi files on it?

I personally do not. Sorry.

Check the F series forums.
