Just bought an AVIC-90BT. The box has a blue and white dot on it. does it mean that it has the latest software? Thanks.

blue dot indicates 1.9 i think

go to settings and in one of the option categories, should be a "software version" button

2.0 is most current

You need the 2.o update, go to pioneers website, grab an sd card and do it up. You buoght it just in time, no need to worry about all the crazy bugs we early adopts got to experience.

not trying to hijack but i think its a relevant question.

how do you know if its a refurbished product or a new one? tons of sellers on ebay selling new and refurbished units and both have the ver 2.0 stickers on them... any ideas?

Refurbs come in a brown cardboard box that says refurb. New come in red/white normal pioneer boxes

Looks like mine is not 2.0. I checked Pioneer website and it only has the firmware update and I don't think this is the latest. Am I missing something?
