Hi, I was recently in Birmingham (UK) and every time I put in the destination the unit reset. I tried several times ( i tell you i nearly smacked the screen out the dash! ) If i put in the ICC under POI it found it and took me there.. I've never had this before? I'm sure I saw about a firmware update either here or on the Pioneer website to fix this biut i've searched and can't find anything and the Pioneer website only has the 1.9 firmware... ARRGHHH!!

I forgot to say , the next day i tried and it did the same, I tried another place and it worked, and then tried another destination and it reset... :s

Sound like your unit is having some issues reading from memory causing a restart.

Try doing a reset, via the menu under navigation reset to defaults, reset using the button next to eject and reloading the default language again.

Also try putting in a new address, if those all result in the same issue, I would say its time for service.
