I have read the compatibility chart from pioneer, but was wondering if version 1.1.1 is the latest for the iPod classic? I am thinking of buying one but don't know if there is a later version out. If there is, does anybody have any feedback about compatibility with versions later than 1.1.1?

i got a 16 gb 4th gen nano and im scared that i just bought this unit and there is no compatibility with it since Apple decided to change the connector on bottom so that NOTHING made for nanos in the past will work with it.

1.1.2 is the latest version of the classic and it works just fine with the F series.

My 16gb 4th gen nano works just fine. Much better than my 2nd gen nano. I almost never get the ipod connection failed message anymore.
