I was one of the first guys here to get a F90BT and I kept it about a month. I loved the unit, hated the bugs and with my 30 day return to ABT winding down, I had to make a decision so I returned the unit and exchanged it for a Kenwood DNX-8120.

Anyway, with the 2.0 update and the way the price on the F90 has plummeted, I pulled the trigger on a new one on Ebay.... with the 25% cashback from Microsoft, it was too good a deal to turn down. I figure I can sell my DNS8120 and actually come out ahead.

So anyway, I guess Ill be reinstalling my F90 next week when/if it shows up. Im excited to see how the unit shakes out now. The 8120 is nice.. its a very solid unit but I miss some of the stuff the Pioneer units offer.. especially the MSN Direct stuff which I used all the time.

I've read nothing but good things about the Kenwoods. Why would you go back?

I switched from a Kenwood DNX5120 to an F90BT. They are both good, each one has its strong points and weaknesses

I switched from an 8120 to an F700 and haven't looked back. The Pioneer just has a much better look and feel to it and some awesome features that the KW does not have that I find useful on a daily basis.

There are a couple of reasons and they're really small ones. For starters, I really liked and used the MSN Direct stuff A LOT. Mainly movie times, etc. Very handy.

I also liked the feature for Sirius where you can mark a song and it will alert you anytime its playing on any channel. That's awesome and Ive really missed that.

The Kenwood unit is solid.. Garmin's navigation is pretty solid as well but the interface is a little clunky. A (mostly) bugfree Pioneer would hands down be better than the Kenwood. The F90BT was just waaaay to broken when it shipped and I couldnt risk waiting for the fix that might not have ever come.
