According to the User's Guide incoming text messages should show up on the screen. I am not getting mine. Has anyone had and or solved this problem. Thanks

I don't even get the prompt 
, sometimes it makes me wonder why they put this kind of features and yet it doesn't work.

Tried reverting to Samatha. Had a friend texting me, but no luck. No notification (audio or text)..

The iPhone's Bluetooth doesn't support the required profile for SMS notification.
Really only Nokia (none N-Series) and Moto phones appear to work with this feature.

It works on my SE z750 but doesn't show who.... and usually it will tell me 2-3 times per text message..... each spaced out about 30 sec. or so.

So.. safe to assume if I put my SIM card in my old RAZR and have people text me it should come up with a prompt? Or is this not available on the f700bt?

I just reread the manual. It stated in TTS the message should even be announced. I think it's on page 59 of the manual.

very few phones support this option. As there is no standard for sms over BT. Im sure once there is a standard a simple firmware upgrade would allow it to work. But until then we keep waiting.

I get "New Mail Message" when a text comes in, but the TM does not get sent to the 700. Using an old RAZR with ATT
