I just got my back-up camera and wanted to know how you guys think I should hook this up.

It only has a power and ground lead, but I want it to work when the car is in ACC and when it is started, but I don't want it getting power when the car is off so that it kills my battery.

How would I go about hooking that up? Thanks.

TAp it in off the same red wire that your avic's hooked up to. As for the ground, well find some metal.

Ok, but will that still get power when the engine is running? I thought that the ACC wire only gets power when the engine is off but the key is in the ACC position.

the accy wire gets power when the key is in accy and on. It loses power when the key is off and when the key is in the start position.
