Hi, i just bought Avic D3, and i boght cd-i200 with it. I want to play every fuction of the ipod, and currently, i dont have ipod. I want to buy one for my d3, and i want to know which ipod supports video fuction. I want to know which firware version of which ipod supports video playback.

All 5th gens will work for all features. As stated in the D3 manual though, video will need to be started from the ipod. The D3 does not support the ability to browse your video files or select them from the touch screen.

yup, as VBLUE says. D3 was made in a way that it doesn't support listing videos. I think the F series does tho.

Firmware version does not matter. Any of the video iPods before the iPod classic will work fine.
