Can I just swap the headunit out and reconnect everything that used to be installed from my Avic-D3 to my new Avic-F90BT. Or will I have to take everything out from the D3 and reinstall all of the new F90-BT stuff? I have not received my F90 yet but am expecting it very soon and want to be ready when it comes.

After searching for the answer, I have found out that yes they are the same, the only difference is where you put the wire for the bypass mod, and the ends of the nav antenna. If anyone disagrees please let me know!

you are right. just reposition the mute wire and change GPS antennas. I just did it.

You don't even have to change the GPS antenna, you can just swap out the connector for the antenna, that's what I did and it works fine.
