WOW I dont know how or why he knows so much but THANK YOU.It works it works it works.....I just did the pin replacement on the plug on the rear of my z1 and I couldnt be happier. If only PIONEERs tech and customer service was half as knowledgeable as you are we could all jump for joy. You are truly "THE MAN" DUCATTI.....

Thanks. I appreciate the props, but a bunch of other people were working on the same issue and there were lots of rumors floating around how to do it. I guess I was just the first to figure out exactly what to do and share it. But you are very welcome.

Yep, ducatiboy always answers most of my question pretty fast, whether it has to do with "off-roading" the Z1 or BT questions. I even bought one of his "off-road" circuits - it turns out I didn't need it. I bought a Z1 that was dated May, but the unit turned out to be dead out of the box. So now I have a newer Z1 with a later date. Doesn't matter, he has given more tech support to me through reading his posts. So thanks, "D-Boy". :D
