The AVIC D3 had the option to have a custom splash image AND a customg background. I've changed my splash image..but I'm not locating in the owners manual..a method to change from the drab black background. What am I missing?

Thanks. Seems like im LOSING as much functionality (Cant control bluetooth phone call volume from the knob, cant change the background) as Im gaining. Im only on day 2 with the unit. Wonder what else I'll discover.

me to i just sold my kenwood dnx8120 and i think im going back when the NEw 09 kenwoods come out. I just installed this last night i should've played with it first. I hope silenceing the wave files will speed this up!
