ok so i got my z1 installed everything works like a charm. i did hook up my archos av700 media player to the ext port and it works flawlessly, but i did notice that when i play music or a movie through it that sound only comes out the passenger side speaker. but when i use regular xm, cd, dvd, radio all speakers work. why just through the one speaker for my external evice?

make sure that it is plugged in all the way. had the same problem with a xm device plug not all the way in. and only one side gets audio.

yup i had to pull out the whole unit and the actual plug was comming out a little
