everytime i hit a button i get a super loud dinging sound and it is really pissing me off

Go into Navi settings and Sounds and adjust both volume levels; start with them almost all the way to the left and work your way to the right until you're happy.

What if you dont have the nav plugged in? I installed the unit tonight and it was late, I'll get around to the GPS this weekend, but if I'm correct, you cant change the nav settings unless you have the nav plugged in right? Man I want that ding gone!

How do you adjust or make the loud ding at start up go away?
