Hello,

I recently replaced my D3 with an F90BT and love it. The only problem I have is my rear-view camera is really washed out. The picture was crisp on the D3. I don't see any adjustment for this.

Any ideas?

probably won't help but is the lens clean? what do you mean by "washed out". maybe a picture would help us understand. this is a new one.

I can take a picture and post it. I'll be out of town for the next few days, so won't be able to until Friday. The screen looks like someone turned the brightness and contrast up as high as possible. In daylight the screen image is very bright, with very little definition.

And yes - in my climate (upstate NY) it is very difficult to keep the lens clean this time of year.

also probably won't help but how high is your avic's contrast set? did you try lowering it at all?

If your contrast + brightness settings don't fix it, then its probably your camera = DOA

I have the exact same issue with my backup camera. I have adjusted the contrast and brightness settings and it made very little difference.

Same here! Bright picture almost "washed out". F700BT unit.

No way to reduce brightness on the camera input. Boyo back camera from Crutchfield.

I do not know how to adjust camera picture without adjusting LCD picture of the unit .

Hope someone will find the fix.

Regards, Bob

You probably have moisture in your camera housing.
