So im trying to figure out if you turn on the restruant poi's is there a way to tell what is what. I see there is a new fast food poi's like my elcipse unit had and all the resturant icons are just an R. doesnt really help you see what is around to eat. Is there a way to tell?

www.pioneerelectronics.com has some sort of free software that allows you to customize your POI's, I believe.

Thanks i will give it a look. It would be dumb to just have every restruant listed as an R defeats the purpose of poi's if you ask me.

The program is crap and the POIs are crap.

There is no way to tell what different POIs are from what I can tell. Only thing to do is download the hack for branded POIs. It is a big help. Only thing is it doesn't have restaurants. I am trying to work on that, but I probably won't get to it for a while and it looks like it could be tough to decipher.

yet another step down from the avic D3...which had branded POI's.
