So I just did tons of soldering, ripped apart my dash, got ready to hook everything up, and then realized I have no clue where this blue wire on my antenna adapter goes.

I tried to do some research, and I'm not sure if anyone else knows where it goes.

Most people seem to say I hook up the blue antenna wire to the blue antenna wire coming out of my HU. That makes sense, but the manual explicitly states, "Be sure not to use this lead as the power supply lead for the auto-antenna or antenna booster. Such connection could cause excessive current drain and malfunction." So, where do I connect the blue wire coming off my antenna adapter?

Thanks for all your help

connect the antenna harnass blue wire to the wire labeled "antenna power" or "powered antenna" or whatever its called. Your amps remote on goes to the wire labeled "system remote control"

The blue wire states "antenna control"

But the manual states:

"Be sure not to use this lead as the power supply lead for the auto-antenna or antenna booster. Such connection could cause excessive current drain and malfunction."

Wouldn't I be going against what the manual says if I do that?

if you're that concerned then put the blue antenna adapter wire hooked up to "system remote control" instead. as long as the draw doesn't exceed 300mA then you should be fine.
