i finally found my VSS wire and tapped into it and connected it to the appropriate pin now how do i access the vehicle dynamics screen? do i have to have the navigation disk in order to do so?

I think you do need the nav disk since the VD screen is accessed from the map screen. While viewing the map you press the map button again to bring up some choices, Vehicle Dynamics is one of them.

you don't need to have the NAV disk in just go in the map screen then press the menu button

when i press the NAV menu since i dnt have the nav disk it says insert the appropriate disk and when i hit menu while its on that screen it doesnt do anything

From the a/v screen, press the MAP button on the left side. Then press it again. You shouldn't have to press the menu button. I do think that the images for the dynamics screen are on the DVD though, it seems like everything else is.

when i hit map from the a/v screen it brings up the please insert appropriate disk screen then from there it wnt let me hit map or menu it will only let me push the volume knob so maybe i do have to have it i got on the way ill have to wait and see
