Given that you find a good location for the IR... Does the SWI-X function well? Are the commands delayed at all? How big of an issue is sunlight when dealing with the IR?
I've been dealing with the SWI-PS, and it's so-so... although it freaks out for whatever reason and decides to stop working every-so-often. But it's somewhat lacking on functions, namely, the voice command button. Which, if I understand correctly, the SWIX is capable of 12 commands > the SWIPS's 9...and the SR1 remote is capable of cool stuff like voice command, answer and hang up...
