i have a avic n2 but i like the avicd2 other than the lack of the flip up screen can u tell me the other differences between the two..

D2 does not play movies, does not have a hideaway brain, does not have detachable face. But does have a better xm display and ability to remember your favorite xm songs, two disk slots so you don't have to worry about taking the nav disk out to play a cd. I am sure I am forgetting something, but there is a start

thanks.does anyone know if the display for the ipod is the same as the n2 or the n3

Same as n2, different from n3.
The d2 has the old "external device" style of controlling iPods. :(
