Hey everyone im new to this forum and found alot of usefull info so far. I just finished installing the z1 i got from a friend and was working perfectly untill this morning. When i turn the car on nothing comes up no lights, no boot up on the screen... I pulled the unit out and found theres power to the unit and the fan is kicking on.. Can someone please give me some helpfull feedback...Thanx

It could be a million things, but I would start with the basics and try to power up the unit on the work bench. Connect yellow and red wires to the '+' 12v source, and the black and light green wires to the '-' 12v source and see what happens. Verify that the inline fuses are good first.

i just tried getting it working no good, the fan turns on only. As far as the inline fuses theres only 1 the yellow wire and its fine. Im tryin to avoid sending it out,possibly somethings wrong that i might be able to fix

If the fan turns on, but nothing else happens, it sounds like you have a hardware issue and may need to send it in...

Just some updated info. Got word from pioneer today that there was corrosion on the circuit board which caused this problem... THanks for the help..
