Hello, I´m new to this great forum but read here for a longer time.
I bought a used F900BT on ebay, and, of course, the seller says, it worked fine, since he removed it.
Well, I installed it, turned on Ignition, the navgate-display appears and the fan started to run, but after a few seconds the system switched off, but the fan still ran.
I installed the (in Europe) brand new 2.001000 firmware (seems to be successfull)and after the reboot I could get in main menu and also in Settings -> System Settings, but every other Setting-Menu doesn't work.
I cannot choose an av-source or insert a cd, telephone-menu doesn't react, when I start Navigation, the Warning Message appears, then the System hangs up. The only thing I can change are the Language- settings, wheras in the colour-settings for example, I'm able to make some settings, but no colour changes...
When I look in Settings -> System Settings for Version-Info, it says Map Version: No Map Version wheras the Firmware-Version is identified correctly.
Since I bought the Unit in Germany (EU-Version) i cannot go into Test Mode to look if there are no Maps...
is there another chance to verify if the maps are deleted or perhaps other parts of the OS are not there, that couses these behaviour?
Or is the unit as much broken that I have to send it to Pioneer ?
Thanks in advance,
Greets Markus
