I have my d3 in my 2000 civic and it keeps going to mem. nav mode and the deck keeps flicking on and off. when play a cd it has no sound but when i play the ipod it has sound. also i looked and couldn't find anything on how to get my 5gen ipod to play vidoes. please help.

Make sure your battery is fully charged, if it is, then pull the unit and double check your connections. As for your iPod, here's what Pioneer says about the D3.

*The CD-I200 iPod Direct Cable is compatible with third generation iPods® and newer featuring the dock connector. Some iPods may not be fully compatible with (and certain features/functionality may be limited with) Pioneer systems.
