Guys, just took delivery of the iPod cable needed for the F900BT (CD-IU230V)

 

My Unit is already installed in the car and was wondering, will I need to remove the whole unit to plug the cable into the back?

 

Or is there an easier way to do this?

The cable incase you didn't notice, required usb, video, and left and right audio.

 

Unless you kept those cables readily avaiable, ina glove box or removable panel or something, there is no way to reacch them otherwise.

 

Personally I keep the usb cable available, and just have the audio/video games behind the unit, since there not all taht long.

 

About all you can do. Luckily in my camry, they had a line in port from the oem stereo I removed which had a nice sized hole great just for this purpose, so the ipod cable easilly reaches through there, and everything stays hidden behind the flip up door.
