I did not see this anywhere, but it sure would be nice if you could put a face for the contact instead of the silhouette. Maybe getting too complex here, but it would have been nice if Pioneer had put a Edit Contact button on the screen

It would be an intense hack. The contact pictures are in the image.res file and there's only 6 of them, the same 6 you see when you press contacts. Those can be edited, but to give every contact their own individual picture would take much coding and hacking.

That's what I was afraid of. It would be a cool feature however.

Are the stock pictures specific to the contact type, or are they randomly assigned in the order the contacts are listed in the DB?

I would like to have a different icon for home, mobile, office, etc.

The order of the contact pictures doesn't change as you descend down the list, so each .bmp is assigned to its specific spot, regardless of the number type.
