I'm starting this thread to keep track of the hardware in my F700BT along with any documentation I can find for it.

 

Starting out, the CPU seems to be an ARM11 36jf-s, docs exist at:

Should be adding significantly to this post after I crack it open.

I'm very interested in speeding this thing up - I found this tech doc that claims about 620mhz from the core, but after reading pages and pages of technical docs I still can't find out a.) how to change the clock settings or b.) what clock settings are suitable, within limits so as to not brick my unit.

I have no idea if the thing is running synchronous, asynch, who knows.. would be nice to find a quick and easy fix to speed the ol' f700 up a bit!
