The bypass works great so far... but when I hit the onstar button the radio shuts down and when I stop using onstar it turns back on. By the way I have the Z2 and I put the mute wire in the empty slot just like the diagram and grounded it. Thank you

most of the chevy interfaces that allow install and retain onstar will disconnect the Acc wire when onstar is active and then turn on the acc wire when onstar is off.

So yes its normal that your radio will shut off

thanks for the quick reply... I dont use onstar anyway and once the free trial runs out I wont pay to have it. I just wanted to make sure I didnt screw something up. Thanks again
