im not sure if this a problem or not but its quite annoying. maybe its just my unit but i noticed that hitting the 'menu' button doesn't go up one ipod screen unless i selected an album/artist during that boot cycle. instead of showing, for example, the album songs when hitting the menu button from the ipod screen, it will display the words "artist, album, playlist" etc. is this just my unit? anyone else annoyed by it? i doubt there is a fix.

Your not the only one, its a design feature.

Is there a hack around this "feature?" I just put my iPod cable on the unit and the lack of the ability to shoot up one menu level is incredibly annoying. It really takes away from the functionality altogether... I'm almost willing to go back to using the iPod through the 8mm jack on the front because of this. Please help!!
