how do you make the avic 700 not go to maps when a calls are incoming or outgoing. Tried searching through forums and nothing or do i live with it

can't.. that's why you couldn't find it..

I wonder how many times this question will be posted? Perhaps this should be a sticky, that is a FAQ, why does the screen default to the nav map while using bluetooth hands free?

This is jsut by design.
