Steering wheel harness Options?

I did some searching and I believe the harness for Steering wheel controls for Pioneer units is PAC SWI-PS.

 

Is this Thee only option? Are other manufacturers that make these harnesses? Only reason I want to ask is to see what other options are available and pricing/performance comparisons.

Soundgate. More expensive, but unlike PAC stuff works with Audi CAN BUS and does have more features...

Does anyone know if the CD-SR100

is compatible with the AVIC-F90BT?

 

The remote indicates that the radio name must have a 'P' in the name to be compatible . . .

 

If not, is there another one that is?

No infrared remotes work. Only ones that go through the wired remote hole

Well that stinks! Why the heck did they do that? Guess there's no sense in getting a wired remote huh?

Wow!!! They still make those?!!? I remember putting something VERY similar in back in the mid 90's!

usually the best ideas dont die out.. but yeah they're still made and they are very compatible with the F series

So you would recommend this? I was wanting to be able to use one of the buttons to get to the voice recognition prompt . . . can you do that with this one?

 

I guess you can't really decide or program what buttons control what function right?

strange...today I can go too...

i thought, maybe non-USA IPs would be blocked because no internationel shipping or sim.
