I'm trying to mod some images but when I pull up the APL file on my pc and open it all the files look like this.
What am I doing wrong?

I'm pretty sure the Image.res file is supposed to be a folder.
From there I should be able to see the image files that are on the head unit?

Nothing is wrong. It shows up as its supposed to. Image.res is a zip file. You need to open the zip file to make changes.

win zip isnt working.
I just may offer someone money to either do this for me, or post a video on you tube to show how this is done.
Just when I think this is making sense to me I hit another road block.

Use winrar. Its works trust me.
For image.res you want to use 7ZIP.

7zip did the trick!
I'm trying to change the icons on the main screen, Navigation, Contacts, and A/V.
There seems to be 2 of the same icons for all 3.
which one do I change, or do I need to change both for all 3?
