cd-1200 vs CD-IB100II — AVIC411 Forum Archive

Does anybody know what the difference between the cd-1200 and the cd-IB100II is? I assume that I have bought the wrong one. I have a avic-n3 and bought the cd-1200 cable and nothing happens when I plug it in to the IPOD. No power, no nothing. The description of the cd-1200 was suppose to be compatible. any clues?

CDI200 is for only for the N4/5 in the N-series

You need the cd-IB100II for your unit. It connects using the IP bus connection. The cd-1200 uses a different connection that you don't have.

FYI the cd-1200 is also used on the D3
